Every couple has a story, and Jennifer and Jason’s is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them. They met a few years ago, and it truly was love at first sight. Sometimes you meet someone who instantly changes your world, and you simply know you’ve found your person.

Like so many couples, Jennifer and Jason had to postpone their wedding because of COVID. When they were finally able to celebrate, they chose an intimate outdoor wedding in the heart of Rosemary Beach along Scenic Highway 30A, just steps from the iconic Pearl Hotel.

Their day was thoughtfully planned by the wonderful Hannah Poole of Hannah Kathryn Events, whose attention to detail made the celebration feel effortless from beginning to end. We started with a relaxed first look before wandering through the charming streets of Rosemary Beach for portraits. The beautiful architecture, tree-lined walkways, white stucco buildings, and elegant coastal charm created the perfect backdrop for timeless wedding photographs.

One of the things I love most about Rosemary Beach is its incredible variety of photo locations. Within just a few blocks, couples have access to cobblestone streets, beautiful courtyards, lush green spaces, elegant architecture, and of course the white sand beaches and emerald waters that make 30A such a dream wedding destination.

Of course, no wedding is complete without at least one memorable story.

Since the reception took place in a private residence just behind The Pearl Hotel, music had to follow the local neighborhood noise ordinance. As the evening went on, security stopped by with a friendly reminder, and not long after, the local police arrived. Ironically, the loud music wasn’t coming from Jennifer and Jason’s wedding at all—it was coming from a live event at The Pearl Hotel and the nearby wine festival happening at the same time.

Thankfully, everyone quickly realized the mix-up, and nothing could take away from the joy of the evening. Instead, it became one of those funny wedding stories that couples laugh about for years to come.

Jennifer and Jason were surrounded by wonderful family and friends, and despite the unexpected interruption, their wedding day was everything they had hoped for—joyful, relaxed, and full of love.

It was an absolute honor to document such a beautiful celebration in one of my favorite places on Florida’s Emerald Coast.
