Sunny Miramar Beach in Destin – a Florida backyard wedding.
Every couple has a story. Jennifer and Jason met a few years ago and it was love at first sight. I guess you know when you meet that special person, it takes you by surprise when you’re not looking. But when you finally see it, it’s like a revelation. You just know.
Like everything else, timing is everything. Covid happened, so they had to postpone their wedding until this year and they decided on a Sunny Miramar Beach backyard wedding. Jennifer and Jason planned their wedding with the help of Hannah Poole of Hannah Kathryn Events, who was a pleasure to work with. We did a first look and took our time without stress for some gorgeous bridal portraits in Miramar Beach Destin Florida.
The day didn’t go completely without shenanigans – and while that’s not funny at the time, it’s totally a funny story to tell later on. Because of the wedding taking place right behind the Pearl Hotel in Miramar Beach in a residential area, of course music has to be turned off early otherwise the police shows up at your door. And that’s exactly what happened – first we had security patrol warning, and then the cops showed up. Only that the music wasn’t coming from our house, it was coming from two other places – a live event at the Pearl, AND the wine festival happening on their lawn. Thankfully, nothing could ruin the day for J&J, but it makes you wonder who could have – Possibly – called the police knowing that there was a wedding happening… I mean… why would you want to ruin someone’s special day?!
Anyway, Super Fun day and such wonderful people that I’m so thrilled to have met!
