When Victoria and Barrett initially emailed me to inquire about their wedding, times were certainly unsure due to COVID, a few months ago. I could sense from their message what fun personalities they both had, by the playful way they described how they met and what their wedding vision was.
Barrett and Victoria met in the spring of 2012 at Pier Park on Panama City Beach where we were employed at the time. However, Barrett would probably tell you that they met at Chuck E Cheese because of their age difference, and convince you that he offered Victoria candy and pizza.
They spent summer of 2012 together, then went their separate ways. Around October 2014, they reconnected on social media; the rest is history! Barrett proposed to her at the Sandals resort in beautiful Montego Bay, Jamaica on her 30th Birthday in 2018. She says it was the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!
Things they love: BRUNCH, Wine (currently enjoying Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon), Whiskey (Makers Mark and Woodford Reserve), Tex-Mex, Key lime pie, the beach, dancing & singing to 80’s pop music, Netflix & more!!
Victoria and Barrett’s wedding was hosted outside on the breathtaking Captain’s Deck at the Emerald Grande Resort overlooking the Destin Harbor on Memorial Day. Cocktail hour & reception were held in their Harborview room, with continuous views of the Destin Harbor. An amazing Fireworks show was the perfect way to celebrate the love that surrounded everyone that night!
