What a fun wedding at Willows Lodge this past weekend!
First look in front of the lodge, with family and friends getting too excited for Lexi and Joey to lay eyes on each other for the first time in their wedding attire.
Bridal portraits followed the first look. In front of Willow’s Lodge, in the middle of the roundabout, there’s a Cedar Snag, which has a little story, like everything else and that made an unique background for the couple photos.
“Gracing the entry drive is a 1,500 year old Western Red Cedar snag collected from a site near the Hood Canal floating bridge in Kitsap County in 1995. This remnant followed the early logging of the old growth timber during the 1880’s. It’s naturally hollow trunk rendered it useless for lumber, but its hollowness acted as a chimney when the fires followed the logging. Only it’s hollowed shell remains as you now see it.” – from the website.
The Ceremony – Russell’s Restaurant and Loft, Bothell
Probably the most emotional moments after the toasts and speeches are over, the first dances – especially the father-bride and the mother-groom.
And… Finishing the evening with some good dancing…
…. and sparkler exit concludes the night! 🙂
Last few words: Lexi and Joey’s wedding was fantastic. Both of them are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and their connection and love showed through in all the images. Again, lucky to have couple like them to work and spend time with.
Be sure to book me in advance, dates are flying off the calendar for the 2019 season. I would be so honored to photograph your wedding as well! Make sure you fill out the Inquiry Form HERE soon, so we can get the show on the road! :))
Until then, Cheers!
